Briefly describe the sterilization method of plastic bottle caps

All walks of life in China are developing more and more rapidly, product varieties are becoming more and more abundant, and packaging forms have also developed from single to diversified in the past. For different products and different packaging forms, the sterilization treatment of packaging bottle caps is also very important. This article discusses the sterilization methods of various beverage bottle caps currently used.

1. Ultraviolet sterilization: After microorganisms are irradiated by ultraviolet light, their proteins and nucleic acids absorb the energy of the ultraviolet spectrum, which will cause protein denaturation and cause the death of microorganisms. Due to the poor light transmission of the bottle cap, ultraviolet rays cannot penetrate the bottle cap and irradiate to the other side of the bottle cap. Therefore, the bottle cap can only achieve partial sterilization, and the surface of the sterilization is random.

2. Hot water spray sterilization: hot water spray sterilization is to use the nozzle to spray hot water on the bottle cap in multiple directions, and remove the dust on the inner and outer surfaces of the bottle cap while sterilizing. During the production of this method, the bottle caps after unscrambling travel in the same direction in the bottle cap channel, and multiple groups of nozzles are arranged above and below the channel, and the nozzles spray hot water in multiple directions on the advancing bottle caps. It is the sterilization temperature, and the time to receive the spray is the sterilization time.

3. Ozone has extremely strong oxidizing properties, it can directly destroy the ribonucleic acid or deoxygenated nucleic acid of the virus and kill it. Ozone can also damage the cell membranes of bacteria and fungi, inhibit their growth, and further infiltrate and destroy the tissue in the membrane until the bacteria and fungi die. Ozone dissolves in water, and the sterilization effect is very good in an environment with high humidity. Ozone water can also be used to sterilize bottle caps. The longer the sterilized bottle caps are stored, the greater the risk of contamination, so the general storage time is no more than one week. The sterilized bottle caps need to be isolated from the outside world, and sent to the cap conveyor when the cap conveyor needs bottle caps.
